Registrations for permit-to-carry courses at Pink Pistols Twin Cities, which serves LGBTQ people in Minneapolis and St. Paul, are up from an average of five people per class to 25 — the group recently added seven more courses to accommodate increased interest, and those are filling up, too. To paraphrase a recent meme: The right is arguing for gun control, and the left is buying guns.

Context: Pirro is talking about the people who commit law-breaking offenses while armed, accountability for that. Like Pretti, he committed several law-breaking federal offenses while armed even though he had a permit.
Pretti did not have his I D or legal permit on his person and therefore was using his legal permit illegally.

Minnesota is not a constitutional carry state. You are breaking a major law if you have a gun on you and no carry permit.
And as far as I know. Only the republican governors and republican legislatures have actually passed constitutional carry recently.
In Minnesota a person is required to have their carry permit AND ID on them when they carry. Without that, the person is not carrying the firearm legally but rather illegally under Minnesota law. Pretti had neither his permit or ID on his person while he was carrying his firearm, he was under Minnesota law illegally carrying a firearm. So the argument of “But he had a permit!” is moot because although he had been issued a permit he was not carrying his permit that day thus was illegally (under Minnesota law) carrying his firearm.
Context: Hundreds of people are mentioned in the Epstein files. We have known since 2016 that Trump was mentioned in the Epstein files, Trump told us himself and Elon Musk verified it last year by simply telling us what we already knew and that was that Trumps name appears in the Epstein files. We also know that at one point in the past Trump had a friendship with Epstein as did hundreds of others, and when he found out about what Epstein was doing Trump broke off the friendship and booted Epstein out of the Mar-a-Lago resort and had nothing else to do with Epstein after that. We also know that despite Miner49er’s repeated lies that Trump had raped some of Epstein’s victims and that Trump had sex with one of Epstein’s underage (at the time) victims that those victims have all come forward and cleared Trump of any wrong doing and denied such events happened. We also know there was a concerted effort by the left wing and conspiracy freaks for years to link Trump to such wrong doing, and they did it by lies and implying and faking information (some of this I covered here at SNW in previous debunking of Miner49er’s lies on the subject). Even the democrat members of congress earlier in this Trump term attempted to fake some emails (by deliberately removing them from context) and presented them to the public as if genuine evidence of wrong doing by Trump, they got caught at it.
Epstein had a thing, a sort of obsession – he would record information on all people of note or influence he met or had a relationship with. There are literally hundreds if not thousands of names of these people sprinkled through all of the Epstein files and documents. Simply having a name mentioned in relation to or in the Epstein files does not mean wrong doing. Epstein met these people at various times and places, social gatherings, in business dealings, etc… and he would simply record information about them.
To date the only notable U.S. political figure that is implicated directly in possible wrong doing in relation to Epstein or the Epstein files and the Epstein victims is former president Bill Clinton and former first lady Hillary Clinton. Bill Clinton visited Epstein Island numerous times despite in the past denying he ever did – there is eyewitness testimony and pictures from the Epstein files about this and other information. However, there are numerous U.S. and international politicians that had some connection to Epstein at some point. Both Bill and Hillary Clinton refused to appear before Congress under subpoena to testify in relation to their relationship with Epstein and where in contempt of congress and threatened with action on that, within the last two days they have changed their minds and now say they will testify.
Despite claims by left wingers and conspiracy freaks and Miner49er, there is no evidence that Trump ever visited Epstein Island. There was a time in the past when Trump did accept loan of Epstein’s private jet to fly somewhere for business but that was before Trump knew about Epstein’s darker side and ended their friendship. It was not uncommon for Epstein to loan his private jet out to friends and lots of people flew on Epstein’s jet and appear in the flight logs as well.
To date there is zero evidence of any wrong doing by Trump in relation to Epstein or the Epstein files and any such wrong doing implied by Miner49er in his above comments is not true – but that’s what we have come to expect from Miner49er, lack of context understanding, no actual research, removing things from context to imply something that did not happen, and a dedicated effort to lie. If there is actual evidence that comes out of wrong doing by Trump in relation to Epstein or the Epstein files I’m pretty sure the whole world will know about it, but to date there has not been even one shred of actual evidence shown which substantiates any wrong doing by Trump in relation to Epstein or the Epstein files.

Out of this “thousands of mentions”, not one shows Trump in contact with Epstein in person, nor by letter, text or email. They are mostly Epstein and his cronies bitching about Trump, and Epstein plotting with Congressional Democrats to find something they can use to smear him and coming up empty-handed. A handful are wild anonymous accusations that the police investigated and found to be baseless. I assume the Biden Justice Department checked them out too, and found them to be without merit, or they certainly would have filed charges to go along with all the other kangaroo-court, banana-republic lawfare the piled on him for four years.

Probably should separate two motivations for leftists seeking firearms training. One is the same reason lots of mainstream conservatives do: fear of crime. The disturbances surrounding COVID and the George Floyd riots disproportionally impacted places where leftists live. So did the increased crime. I am not going to worry about this. The second motivator is the insurrectionists planning to take on the government. That will be a short fight, if they envision fighting with guns but it is more worrisome if the guns are to provide protection for drones, bombs, trucks etc.

In gun classes the rules and limitations and common sense stuff are presented and discussed as critical to safe and “legal” carry, no? How many will internalize those?
