"Oh look! Twenty-four arrests and he was still prowling the streets. Does anyone know if Raleigh has a Soros prosecutor?"

Answer: No, Raleigh (Wake County) does not have a Soros district attorney.

But we don’t know that the 24 arrests took place in Wake County. Durham is next door to Raleigh, and Durham does have a Soros district attorney.

The above link says incorrectly that Debarry is the Wake County DA but she’s actually the Durham County DA.

Canada firearms confiscation scheme didn't work out too well:: Canadian 'Buyback' Pilot Program Officially a Bust.

[note: government mandatory-participation 'buy back' is confiscation, and its not a 'buy back' either. First, the government can not 'buy back' something it never owned - its not even an actual legal-concept that a government can 'buy back' someones personal property the government never owned. Second, mandatory participation means they offer you a very low price, pennies on the dollar, and you are required to surrender the gun for that price or they take you to jail and then take the guns anyway if you refuse to surrender for that price or at all - this is confiscation by threat-coercion using government force.]

No one lives in a 'safe neighborhood' in today's world. Overall the threat vector bad guys do not fear the police or courts, or security cameras, or 911, or security guards, or well-lighted areas, or public places, or locked doors, or car alarms, or pepper spray or stun guns, or dogs, or you armed with a knife or club, etc...

At a minimum, in any 'living type' of area (community, town, city, unincorporated or not, including rural communities clusters, gated communities or not, including workplaces and places where you shop or visit in the general public settings, or in schools or day cares or hospitals, even in your own yard, etc...): Every person in the United States, man-woman-teen-child-infant, no matter the political affiliation or ideology, no matter the amount of hired-security, no matter the responsiveness of the police, no matter the age, no matter the 'gender' or 'sexual' ideology/orientation, no matter the profession, no matter if 'reclusive' or not - for every (collective) 6 hours in public view (including in your own home because the home is in public view) these will be targeted as a potential victim of a violent crime at least three times during that (collective) 6 hours in public view. Its just a matter of if the threat vector doing such targeting decides to carry out their crime or not.

Overall, using any means of defense other than a firearm and employing Defensive Gun Use (DGU) provides less than a 2% chance of escaping serious injury or death at the hands of a violent attacker. This non-firearm defense includes things such as fleeing, complying, hand-to-hand-combat, clubs, knife, barricading, call 911, deploying pepper spray by some method, yelling/screaming/blowing-whistles-or-air-horns, turning on the lights, etc... .

Overall, a firearm and employing DGU provides an over 97% chance of escaping serious injury or death at the hands of a violent attacker.

The next time a person, or an anti-gun organization, or a politician or a police department, or an internet article says you do not need a gun then ask them this simple question: "If I am or my family is attacked by a violent person or a criminal breaks in - are you going to suddenly appear in that imminent and provide the needed 'I-need-defense-now' defense against that?" - if the answer is anything else but a simple one word 'No' then they lied to you when they said that you do not need a gun.
