It’s a product to sell. What’s worse is the product has deep woven ties to the MIC which is fed endlessly with tax dollars. Even those dollars ostensibly coming from private entities often originated from the taxpayer before they wound up in those private bank accounts.

A product to be sold, that is subsidized by the taxpayer, will continue to be sold regardless of how well it does or does not function. In fact the worse it functions the more product it will sell. These schemes are endless pits of expense always chasing an impossible promised land that defies the laws of nature and physics.

It’s a great business to get into if you don’t mind being an absolute cretin while you count your stacks of money.

Every once in a blue moon the planets will align and honesty will result in an ended contract but then it’s the forces who ended the gift who are seen as the bad guys not the grifter because after all who would dare end a safety program even if it costs billions and demonstrates no results.
