Well, I read that sentence differently. Granted he used the objectionable phrase “gun violence” but the sentence is written in the passive voice, suggesting that the firearms noted were merely tools, and therefore are not in and of themselves responsible for the action.

I am well aware that their rhetoric often implies, and sometimes explicity states, that firearms are evil by nature and are the cause of much mayhem. I agree that the phrase “gun violence” is objectionable because it suggests an active voice, but the authors did qualify that phrase with language that places the onus of the action on the actors, not the tools.

They had to create division and hate. They gave up on the policy arguments after Obama was elected, believing they could win with favorable demographics, propaganda, and institutional control. Then, they began losing some control, in part because Elon bought twitter. They were pissed because they hate free speech and debate.

They’re going to have to confiscate “sniper rifles” for your safety. You can have one shotgun and one revolver. No one needs anything more than that except the VIP security details, the police, and about 20 federal agencies, including the Dept of Education.

Nicer than what I would say.

The gun grabbers want every single gun you have. You are a fool to think otherwise.
