Who wants a silencer? The average good citizen including police officers. They’re law-abiding and want to protect their hearing. Our police officers are not against these provisions that allow anyone willing to submit a 4473 and undergo a background check to get a silencer. The people who want silencers are good and honest citizens who want to have some level of hearing protection. Hell, criminals are going to do as they please anyway and they are not concerned about suppressor laws.
