It’s just another example of the Death by a Thousand cuts Democrats have been using against the 2nd Amendment for decades. Kinda like
whack a mole. If they miss or fail in one part of their attack they simple move to another front and continue. As long as the ideology and those who support it are Allowed. They will never stop in the efforts to destroy the 2nd Amendment.

Sigh… once again, actually there is no such thing as “military-grade ammunition” for small arms firearms. There is ammo the military procures for its use, it may be relatively more reliable and increasingly accurate (or not) (depending on what they buy) in comparison to the low-end (as in price) regular grade the civilian market can buy (for the civilian market 99.99% of its just as reliable and accurate as what the military uses). Military ammo, for those manufactures that do sell to the military, comes off the same line that produces the ammo for the civilian market with the same ‘military’ type specs the military specs when it buys ammo, government can use our tax dollars to buy ‘in large bulk’ that ammo and this is what gives it the moniker “military-grade ammunition” – the moniker does not mean its anything special. The same ammo is available to the civilian market, and if one wants to pay the increased price for “more reliable and increasingly accurate” compared to the price of the low-end (price) regular grade ammo, a person can do that just as the military can. No one manufacturers ammo for small arms firearms that is classed or graded or manufactured as only specifically “military-grade ammunition” as if its a ‘special’ ammo (although, at least one manufacturer does call it “military-grade ammunition” when its a bulk order for the military) . On the other hand 99.99% of military ammunition can be somewhat less accurate than the higher-end, more expensive grades of civilian market ammunition.

So already, no one can “purchase” body armor “designed to stop military-grade ammunition”, not even the government can buy it, because there is no such thing as “military-grade ammunition”.

This is the typical anti-gun sensationalism of a term to make it seem more unique. “Oh no…military-grade ammunition … gasp, gotta stop that!” – basically, its just regular ammo, same ammo the civilian market can get, sold to the military in large quantity bulk
