In reply to Scoest. I used to watch him years ago, when he was actually funny. I still recall the show (broadcast on a Friday) in which he took an unusual somber tone and gave a very respectful monologue outlining his mother's life shortly after her passing. She clearly acted as a form of restraint on him while she was with us, because up until that point he was a very different entertainer than he became afterward. Three days later, beginning with the following Monday's show, he flipped his internal switch and lurched leftward, showing his real self and immediately disrespecting the efforts his mother may have made to raise him to be a gentleman. I lost all respect for him and stopped watching by the end of that same week.
