Just the opposite. It is stupid easy to fabricate low end suppressors, and the market will be awash with them in short order.

Suppressors in Europe are most commonly cheap aluminum ones that wear out after a few hundred shots. For, say, a deer rifle that maybe gets fired a dozen times a year, that’s good enough. The whole NFA rigamorale made that uneconomical in the US, but that will change very, very quickly.

Now, I already have a number of cans . . . so what do I want to see in the BBB goes through? I want an integrally-suppressed, magazine-fed SBS, which would be the perfect home defense weapon. (Jeremy, get Black Collar Arms on this and you’ll make a mint!)

I think the best use for a suppressor, other than fun recreation, is for a home defense SBR. You don’t need the 16-18″ ballistic advantage for a shot inside of 50 feet. A 9-11″ barrel with a 6″ suppressor would be perfect. You can still do plenty of damage on a 100 yard shot with the proper caliber/ammo. It wouldn’t be terrible for a truck gun.

The cheap ones will probably sell out initially.

I have lots of shotguns. And a couple of good quality hacksaws in my kit. If the SHTF then some sawing gets done.
