It still works for me. The difference might be OS and/or browser type.

I have Ad Block Plus.

YouTube simply appends an advertisement video to the beginning of the video of interest–within the same window.

And making matters worse, if you try jumping to a different tab or window to do something else/productive during that advertisement portion, YouTube automatically pauses the video.

You could use something like Ad Block Plus and never watch another ad again on YouTube.

In case it isn’t immediately obvious, a platform which requires consumers to see a three-minute video every time they click on something is, to be blunt, untenable. I understand that a platform and content creators have to be profitable and I am all for that. Their platform also has to be palatable, though. And YouTube has now crossed the threshold of no longer being tolerable, much less palatable. That being the case, I no longer watch videos on YouTube unless I am absolutely desperate for the content and that content is not available anywhere else. In other words YouTube has lost 97% of my viewing.

what was the “disqualified material” you posted? What do you post on Pinterest?

Just curious, I don’t order anything from Pinterest. I sometimes stumble across something on Pinterest when searching for something but the way Pinterest is gives me the creeps in terms of buying stuff from there.
