Mark Smith, maybe some people are saying that Barrett is left wing or hates Trump. That isn’t the argument that matters. Of course she isn’t left wing, and her personal feelings about Trump are irrelevant.

I bet we can also list some big rulings when Roberts sided with conservative justices. Does that prove that we shouldn’t worry how Roberts will rule in the future? Then to pretend like Barrett is basically just like Alito or Thomas, because you’ve disagreed with them too, is a massive effort at putting lipstick on a pig.

Why haven’t we been able to find a stellar female SCOTUS justice? Sandra Day O’Connor was awful too.
