BTW, Wyoming Arms is back in business, although they no longer make or sell these pistols. They sell ARs and AR parts, as well as suppressors.

I’m not trying to discount your claims but know this… I have a 10mm Parker SS that is my pride and joy. It is accurate, dependable and has never let me down in any way.

This was cool to read. My family is from Thermopolis, and we purchased WYO-01 through WYO-04 in 45ACP. My dad also later purchased a 10mm. Granted ours were obviously early editions, but they were if fact, Super Fantastic Jam-O-Matics. Mine does not have a plastic guide rod, it has a spring guide about half the size of a GI mode. The trigger is actually good, but that does not matter due to the single shot nature of the thing. I would never carry it due to the questionable at best “safety”. The only reason I even read this article is I was looking at the pistol this morning and decided to look it up on a whim. Before I read the article I field stripped it and the extractor did indeed launch into the celling. I had forgotten about that feature.

Worst report I ever read on a pistol, I have one, one of if not the best shooting .45 I’ve ever owned and shot, you ought to be ashamed to yourself for such a report, I’ve admired your past gun reviews, I don’t know who you were mad at when you described to Parker s s , but I love the gun, would not trade it for a colt or s&w. It shoots wonderful.

I own a SS 10mm Parker standard
. I purchased at a gun show because I wanted an10mm. I kinda like mine even though it’s not very accurate but it’s never jammed or miss fired on me

Last August, came across one of these at Cabela’s in Billings, MT. 10mm version. They had it on sale for the low price of $649.99. If there was a way, I’d post the picture I took of it. Gun looked to be in great condition for it’s age (but that’s probably due to the fact it more than likely never ever functioned correctly to begin with…)

I recently almost bought a Laseraim 10mm which is essentially a Wyoming Arms design but with a more CZ-75 flair. Same issue with the ejector too, which is the first thing I found when researching the gun and made me run far, far away.
