That hump is kinda deceptive- you’ll notice it doesn’t have a grip safety. A lot of the race guns don’t, for reasons I don’t fully understand. But if they slimmed down that area significantly, rather than adding material to the back of the mainspring housing, it might end up being slimmer and more comfortable for those with smaller hands.
I’m not one of those, so I’ll stick to my Para Ordnance commander in .45]]></description>
