Same great ergos but with no link, locking nubbies, bushing, disassembly gymnastics for a FL guide rod, rod / leaf-spring extractor, or morbidly obese .45-width mag in 9x19. I.e. not this. At least they got rid of the grip nonsafety.

In reply to top secret. That hump is kinda deceptive- you’ll notice it doesn’t have a grip safety. A lot of the race guns don’t, for reasons I don’t fully understand. But if they slimmed down that area significantly, rather than adding material to the back of the mainspring housing, it might end up being slimmer and more comfortable for those with smaller hands. I’m not one of those, so I’ll stick to my Para Ordnance commander in .45

2011s are girthy enough already. Gonna need XXL hands to shoot this one with that hump on the grip. I’d much rather get a MAC DS9, have a good 1911 smith replace the internals with non-MIM parts, and have a solid shooter for a third the cost of this gucci gun.
