From my understanding of that fateful evening, with the benefit of many details now known, his actions to assist in the defense of a vulnerable business (source of a friend&#039;s livelihood) was &lt;i&gt;&lt;b&gt;not&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/i&gt; a &quot;poor decision&quot;, IMHO.  Choosing to move toward protesters and actively engage them is one thing, but to defend lawful property from approaching violent persons is another.

Amazing how many among us somehow venerate the &quot;Rooftop Koreans&quot; who were firmly staying put and in fact ready to shoot approaching rioters, but at the same time shake our heads at the Kyle Rittenhouses who have honorable intentions but ultimately choose to leave the danger, encountering challenges during that egress.

God help us if things go sideways in a big way again, and nobody chooses to stand and defend.]]></description>
