I don’t need to look it up. I’m not disputing that. I’m just saying that’s not the goal of what Musk wants to do.

I agree with you on that. But Musk isn’t wanting to replace American workers with immigrants if they work cheaper or not.

You see, we have a problem right here at home.

We have tons of qualified engineering level opportunities for employment here in the U.S.. But for the last decade the democrats and left wing have broadly gained control over tech-sector engineering level and filled only some of them, leaving other needed positions empty, so DEI would be satisfied. This has resulted in a ‘much lower quality’ work force in the engineering levels in the tech sector because a lot of non-qualified or not very well qualified were used to fill the positions to meet DEI criteria. In other words, DEI criteria for the workforce is the equivalent of say the old Soviet Union only hiring those who were party members where the only thing that mattered was not your qualifications or competence but being a party member which is why there were is many of the people that ‘joined’ the party in the old Soviet Union so they could have a job to be able to afford at least some food with such a small wage and get a place to live. DEI is a marxist socialist concept to begin with and is always devastating to a society eventually, but its devastation effect begins in the areas that make society function and run and in that case its already happening in our tech sector and as a result we are loosing ground in development and implementation and production and just keeping things running properly. And now also because of DEI our higher education system is not turning out enough qualified engineering level people as these systems refocused on DEI related things like, for example, ‘social justice’ and ‘gender studies’ and ‘critical race theory’ – which had the effect of cutting back on funding and staff to refocus that on DEI stuff thus decreasing the amount of students in engineering fields. In short, the U.S. is starting to slide into tech sector collapse because of DEI.

Musk wants to stop this slide into U.S. tech sector collapse as a result of DEI by using qualified engineering level legal immigrants.

If these tech companies wanted to give back to this country, then they would be investing in American citizens from a young age. It isn’t about giving back to the country that gave them so much. It’s about squeezing out every possible penny for profit.

He wants qualified engineering level legal immigrants so they can be employed in the tech sector, where they would be paid very well and not work ‘cheaply’.

There is an over abundance of qualified engineering level people world wide that are not working at their chosen engineering profession because they can’t. In other countries they are washing dishes. driving cabs, cleaning toilets and mopping floors, etc…. This is because outside the United States each country has a ‘ruling class’ that decides at some level who can or can not have, in this case, higher level ‘technical’ positions like ‘engineering’, – they do this by having managers in place that toe the ‘corporate line’ and some where in that ‘corporate’ there is an ‘unofficial environment’ of very selective hiring so people who are of the wrong ‘lineage’ or ‘color’ or ‘religion’ or maybe have a family or some other criteria don’t get higher level ‘technical’ positions like ‘engineering’. This is especially true across Europe and in Japan and other Asian countries. A lot of these want to immigrate to the U.S. and Musk wants to get them into our tech sector and be paid well.

What Musk advocates for is the HB-1 visa process for qualified engineering level legal immigrants so they can be employed in the tech sector, where they would be paid very well. He is not advocating for illegal aliens…

I did say immigrant workers, not illegal immigrant workers. Legal immigrants also replace American workers because they’re cheaper. The H1-B visa program has stifled wage growth in the tech sector, especially. That has been reported on for years. Legal immigration has been taken advantage of in this country by billionaires like Elon, to the detriment of American workers.

Super wealthy corporations love to exploit that visa program. It’s only supposed to be used when they can’t find enough workers. Of course, that’s always a lie. It’s amazing how many Democrats actually believe that employers have to hire immigrants because Americans are too lazy to work. That’s a lie. Americans demand to be paid more. You can find good, hard-working Americans to do any job, but they will cost more. Yet Democrats insist that low-wage workers should be paid more. Democrats are either clueless or lying hypocrites.

Remember when Disney laid off 250 tech workers a decade or so ago? They replaced them with legal immigrants. They made the Americans train them before they laid them off. We need to completely rethink our legal immigration system as well.

The media will relentlessly push a story like that that helps Democrats.

In the case of an immigrant, a person who is a citizen of another country that legally immigrates to the U.S.

A ‘someone’ citizen of another country who illegally enters or remains in U.S. is an illegal alien and not a legal immigrant.
