Love my SAR9 Socom Compact. I have always. Been a huge Glock guy. Been carrying a G19 gen3 for years. After holding and shooting the SAR, my G19 feels so blocky lol. I still love my Glock, but the ergos on the SAR are next level. Out of the box, it felt like it was made for my hands. The molded grip and everything about the trigger frame felt good and I can tell it was very well thought through. Love the flared magwell, makes it stupid easy to load a fresh mag, also like how the mags shoot out when they are ejected. Sights are amazing. Was smart to black out the two rear sights, makes it easier to find the front sight during the night with no mos. You can also co-witness the iron sights with your mos having the taller silencer height sights. Trigger pull is amazing. Like it more than my Glock. The way it shoots is super nice. Very fun accurate as hell firearm to shoot. Tolerances are nice, made out of good material. Shocked I paid $460 for a pistol made this well with so many features and extras it came with. HIGHLY commended pistol.

Hardly a boxy Glock clone. Have you ever seen, an SR9? We used them effectively in Ukraine, the “3D” ports weren’t an issue because we cleaned our weapons. The SR9 functioned flawlessly even dirty, American snobbery is not flatteting. If anything is a clone, the Springfield Echelon comes closest to the SR9 SOCOM, not sure about war zone use though.
