Hi. I bought this gun 3 months ago, and the rear sight is louse. Looks like the screw holding the sight is to short. You have some idea where to look for the screw ? The century arms is not help.

Of all the little details to keep from the original design, it’s retarded to retain the magazine safety–unless you like crunchy fifteen-pound SA triggers, of course–the flesh-eating rowel hammer, and the unusable microscopic safety catch. It’s not like it was anything resembling to an authentic wartime P35 in the first place, not with the external extractor and the three-dot sights.

Is it an alloy-frame gun, then? A steel frame BHP is 32+ ounces with an empty chamber and no mag.

Would like to know can the threaded barrel 1911 9mm HP
Replace the original barrel. The barrel is also Tesas that’s the 1911 9mm HP same company.

My LGS has one coming they are going to hold it for me. I have had several Hi Powers in the past and stupidly let them go. I can’t afford a used real Hi Power so for the price this fits the bill. If it functions like the one in your review i will be happy. Thanx for your review it helped in my decision to purchase one.

For that matter … Arms Unlimited has B&T Mk II pistols for $699 at the moment. Tan only, they’re out of the all-black models. As I understand it these are CZ-75 pattern pistols, will take CZ-75 B magazines, and come with a threaded barrel and optics cut. While the reviews suggest it might not have been a great deal at the original price, around $1400 I think, this is about half off. Gotta say, that’s kind of tempting too.
