Sorry, but after being burned numerous times over a decade plus period of time I will never trust a Century Arms product with perhaps a singular exception being their part in importing Canik pistols.
On top of having a history of customer disdain, once one buys a Century Arms AK the rifle will, much like your new Chevy, begin to depreciate. At no time in the future will a Century AK ever appreciate like say a WBP or Arsenal or even a Zastava rifle will. Think of your favorite son inheriting your BFT or some old WASR. Gloating with pride the boy will not be.
Zastava makes a superb 5.56 AK in their m90. WBP in their FOX line produces a superb chrome lined barrel 5.56 AK. Imports appreciate, Century products produced stateside or imported will plummet.
And I wont even mention Centurys lengthy history of mechanical failures. Regarding AKs and "bright sides", the lowly WASR holds some respect for being pretty much an Imported AK............but even so the issues with that rifle are too, too numerous.

I lost interest in 7.62x39 when it became less cheap and plentiful. I don't see the point in having an AK in 5.56.

I sold my last AK (Romy G) when I decided to drop 7.62 Soviet from my ammo line up.

The ONLY thing that'd get me to buy another AK would be one that's cambered in 7.62×35 (300 BLK).

I tried out .300 Blk, its ok but in my opinion not worth all the hype people attached to it. Overall I would not prefer it over 5.56 or 7.62. I would not want an AK platform in .300 blk.

"How about an AR chambered in 7.62x39mm? Or are we just playing with new toys here?"

Has anyone bothered to produce an AK chambered in .300 BLK, or would that be as pointless as I suspect it would be?
