Might make sense of you squint at the idea sideways in the new overpressure 6.8 loading but for the more common calibers yeah don’t really get it.

But….the upgrade is ($2,199.99) $2,200.00 ?

That’s not a ‘makes sense’ “upgrade” at all, especially for what amounts to ‘looks’ when one can build or buy a complete rifle that does or has the same ‘functionality’ for half (or less) of what the Sig “upgrade” costs. This “upgrade” is essentially something for people with more money than common sense, and heck if you really wanted an MCX-SPEAR LT and had that much to spend on an upgrade then why not just throw in a couple hundred more and get an actual MCX-SPEAR LT?
