With the passing of the T/C Contender handguns. and their uncertain possible return with the new ownership, had hoped that the Brawler was designed so barrels could be swapped out for different applications. Note – A .223/5.56 round in a 9″ barrel is a major ear splitter bast. When will a .22KR or .22WMR barrel be available??? Would like that option better.

The trigger looks like it could easily be worked on by a competent gunsmith if the trigger didn’t quite meet one’s specs. The owner’s manual shows a breakdown of the parts (page 22).

For years, I have thought about getting a .300 Blackout threaded barrel for my old TC Contender, as it would make for a stupid quiet rig for whitetails and hogs with a can and subsonic ammo. However, the price for such a barrel would be about 50% more than the likely street price of the Brawler. So, questions will be how good is the trigger and how good is the accuracy . . . .
