Are there areas in the US where semi-autos are banned for hunting?

I don’t have a problem with that upper, it gives a shooter an additional tool in the freedom ‘toolbox’, without needing to buy an additional rifle…

I don’t understand the market for this. I want either a bolt-action rifle in a traditional form factor or I want a semi-auto rifle in an AR form factor. What I don’t want is a bolt-action rifle in an AR platform.
