This doesn’t pass the smell test. No one I know has made comments like this.

We carry because we assume responsibility for ourselves and those in our care.

I have fire extinguishers at home, in the shed and in the care. I don’t feel anxious that a fire is about to happen.

Just another one starts with a hypothesis and manipulates the experiment to get the results he wants.

I don’t feel any more or less safe when carrying a firearm. Because that is out of my hands. The actions of another person makes that decision. What I am is more prepared to act as necessary when a threat presents itself.

I carry because I have been shooting since 1971. I do not feel anxious at all carrying a gun. As the Boy Scouts say be prepared. I do feel more safe carrying the gun. You have to be willing to use it to protect yourself and others (State of Ohio say’s you are to protect others as well as yourself). In addition, as a 76 year old, as it was said Samuel. Colt made all men equal. If I have any in trepidation at all, it is as to when to come to the defense of another not a family member, due to society and the law assuming a person guilty until proven innocent.

If carrying a gun to feel “safe”, or more “safe” is actually a thing, would seem someone is delusional. A firearm doesn’t impart safety at all, ever. What it does is possibly make (not “feel”) a person more capable of handling danger; which is not “safety”.

Driving a tank, is a form of carrying a gun. In our society, driving a tank just might provide actual safety.

I’m throwing out the BS flag here. “chaotic”? WTF is he talking about? A lot of this makes no sense to me, a 25 year CCP carrier. Sounds like there may be some bias embedded into this flawed research.
