One man who analyzed the killing said there was an entrance wound a bit below the right ear with an exit would where the carotid was blown out. I can’t tell from his video if that was the case or not. The man, however, is not a nut.

One of the arguments I’ve read is that the wound in Charlie’s neck is an exit wound because blood doesn’t gush out of an entry wound. Two years ago I was shot in the left pectoral area of my chest with an AK47. When I felt the impact of the bullet I looked down to see a solid stream of blood shoot out of my chest.
So, yeah, I know for an absolute fact that blood will gush out of an entry wound.
