We should build a wall and staff the border with the National Guard to keep guns from crossing into Mexico.

Well, leftist U.S. judges did rule that illegal aliens can legally buy guns in the U.S. So, don’t tell me that didn’t help insure a flow of weapons to Mexico, I’m sure the cartels didn’t buy off those judges, though . . . . Eh? Also, last-candidate-left-standing-Sheinbaum is only in office because all of her opposition suffered “axedents” during the Mexican election cycle, so I’m not too interested in her comments about U.S. manufactured guns being the reason the cartels are well armed, either. Her party is better financed by the cartels than democrats are by USAID, and the cartels seem to be mainly armed with full-auto AKs that were NOT made by manufacturers in the U.S.

Hmmm, so when you release Hose A from prison and let him walk into the U.S. he can buy a gun from the local MS 13 rep and walk right back into Mehico. Never saw that one coming.

I applaud this effort as long as Mexico holds up their end of the bargain.

But, what about Russia, China, Eastern Europe? You can’t tell me the USA is the sole source of Cartel guns.

Since the vast majority of firearms smuggled into Mexican by drug cartels, make the trip via illegal border crossings, Trump’s policies on securing the US/Mexico border would, by default, put a serious dent in such trafficking. Of course, that is also assuming that he also takes action to prevent certain rouge Government agencies which are, in fact, responsible for the vast majority of the aforementioned smuggling, from continuing continuing to do so.
