Uhhhh.... 'the ink was barely dry' for the announcement about Trump striking Iran before the Democrats started calling for Trump's impeachment.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) claimed "The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers, ... He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”

Rep. Sean Casten (D-Ill.) said “This is not about the merits of Iran’s nuclear program, ... No president has the authority to bomb another country that does not pose an imminent threat to the US without the approval of Congress. This is an unambiguous impeachable offense.”

Both of them and the other democrats calling for impeachment - these Democrat assessments are stupid and reek of hypocrisy are willful blindness and are lies.

1. We've been at war with Iran for 46 years. It started with a weak Democrat president called Jimmy Carter. At war for generations already because Jimmy Carter was too weak of a president to stand up to the 'new Islamic Republic'.

On Nov. 4, 1979, less than two weeks after the constitution of the new Islamic Republic was adopted, a group calling itself Muslim Students Following the Imam’s Line (that is, the Ayatollah Khomeini’s line) entered the U.S. Embassy compound in Tehran and took hostage the skeleton staff of sixty-six that was still serving there after the fall of the Shah – thus attacked the United States (the embassy was, under international law, United States soil) and by doing such declared war on the United States. And over this 46 years Iran has carried out numerous act-of-war attacks on the United States by attacking our citizens and military, and our allies, either directly or through one of their groups.

2. Iran’s nuclear ambitions have been an open secret for years, a nuclear armed Iran would be a catastrophe not just for the Middle East but for the entire world. More recently Iran threatened to use a nuclear weapon against the U.S. or our allies and every indication is they have the enriched uranium, they have even bragged about it, to build such a weapon at the sites that Trump targeted and were at most just a few weeks away from having maybe up to six nuclear weapons (depending on how they went about building them - building a single basic missile deliverable nuclear weapon is within their ability within a 3 day window) and they have a missile delivery system they could use to strike most places into the middle east even into Russia. Iran has for the last 46 years been an 'imminent' threat either directly or through their proxies and we handled it at 'basically arms' reach when we did something in the past without really confronting it, now they are a very much present 'imminent' with their nuclear weapon threats and capability.

Trump during his first term thought it could be dealt with by diplomacy because the ‘swamp' did not want further action and was happy to have an ‘endless war’ to justify funding ‘pork barrel’ stuff, and Iran didn't have a nuclear weapon then although was trying hard to have one. The diplomacy failed, and of course Iran was lying about their reason for wanting 'nuclear' in their country. Other presidents prior also did very little about Iran, some republican presidents tried in some way and got mired down in the 'swamp' in trying to do so and except for lip service and sound bites democrats presidents basically ignored Iran. The along comes Biden who did nothing about Iran that was anything significant or useful, and he unfroze around $16 Billion of Iran money and let them have it, which despite the condition that it go for ‘humanitarian purposes’ Iran did a ‘Sure Joe, pinky swear’ and put it into their nuclear and weapons programs and funding attacks on Israel and used it to buy what they needed to eventually have a nuclear weapon and here we are today.

Iran is a hostile regime that has repeatedly threatened its neighbors, sponsored terrorism, and openly called for the destruction of Israel and the United States and slaughter of American citizens and citizens of our allies, and waged war against the United States and our allies for the last 46 years, and is threatening to use nuclear weapons now. Allowing Iran to have a nuclear weapon is not just naïve - it’s suicidal.

The reality is that Democrat presidents have a long history of launching military strikes without seeking congressional approval. Bill Clinton ordered bombing campaigns in Kosovo, Sudan, and Afghanistan. Barack Obama led the disastrous intervention in Libya. Joe Biden launched airstrikes in Syria in 2021 and his blatant “wag the dog” operation in Yemen in 2024. All of these actions were justified under Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution, which grants the president authority as commander-in-chief to take limited military action without a congressional vote - Democrats never said a word about impeaching any of these Democrat presidents. The Constitution doesn’t say that only Democrat presidents can do this while Republican presidents need permission from Congress. It was constitutional when the Democrats did it and no calls for impeachment, but when Trump does it to stop a genuine threat to the U.S. and our citizens and basically the world and all the Democrats want to do is scream "Impeach Trump!" knowing they actually can't and do not have the grounds for such.

There comes a time when talking nice and being diplomatic and saying "pretty please' no longer works - there comes a time when the threat lets you know in unmistakable terms their goal is to kill you and are going to kill you. That time came and President Trump did what was necessary to stop the threat. The Democrats are morons taking advantage of a serious situation and Trump saving us and the world from the mentally ill Iran that wants to slaughter us with a nuclear weapon and the Democrats play political theater and once again try to deceive the American public.

I didn't know SNW allowed that. I've tried it before and it didn't work. I'll start trying to use that and see what happens, so lets see....

In recent news:

After 46 years of Iran’s declared war on the United States, hundreds of Iran’s war attacks over those years on U.S. military and American citizens and our allies, and more recently Iran threatening us with the threat of using a nuclear weapon against us or our allies and them having the capability to have such a nuclear weapon ready very soon – finally a U.S. President, President Trump, has taken decisive steps to destroy Iran’s nuclear capability by striking and destroying Iran’s sites used to make the enriched uranium Iran would have used in its nuclear weapon.

The United States has bombed three nuclear sites in Iran, President Donald Trump announced just before 8 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday in a social media post. The announcement came after U.S. aircraft completed the mission and were outside Iranian airspace.

Trump’s Audacious Deception, Tight OpSec, Shocking Stealth in Lead-Up to Hit on Iran’s Nuke Sites.

“…
Fox News’s Sean Hannity spoke to President Trump, who told him that the stealth bombers took out the most formidable target, the mountain-embedded Fordow nuclear enrichment plant. He was told the U.S. Air Force bombers used six 30,000-pound Massive Ordnance Penetrators — bunker busters — on the Fordow nuclear site..

U.S. officials are reported to believe that the nuclear site doesn’t exist anymore.

The other two Iranian nuclear sites at Natanz and Isfahan, softened up by Israeli bombs, were struck by U.S. Navy submarines in the region using a reported 30 Tomahawk missiles.
