Survivors of the 1941 Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor have long been the center of a remembrance ceremony held each year on the military base’s waterfront. When the subject of guns appears in a conversation, it usually is the beginning of the end of the conversation, i.e., any meaningful conversation. Liberals will act like a light switch and “turn off” and any further conversation with a semblance of integrity is impossible and not going to happen. Some will place their hands over their ears while others will talk louder constantly interrupting so as not hear anything another person is saying. The idea of slapping the piss out them comes to mind.
