The biggest SCOTUS cases that are pending right now are the two that will likely nuke Chevron deference. Get rid of Chevron deference (which appears to be about to happen), and you kick the legs out from the under entire administrative state structure, including much of what the ATF has been trying to do recently via EO’s and kooky new regulations.

When the bureaucrats actually have to defend in court the BS regulations they can now issue with near complete impunity, we will see a lot fewer of them, especially now that the right has adopted / perfected the left’s old practice of lawfare in friendly venues.

This is a potential legal earthquake which would have a much bigger impact on your daily lives than Dobbs, Bruen, or just about any SCOTUS case in recent history. What Prof. Phil Hamburger started only a few years ago is about to turn Washington inside out.

What the hell is any SC Justice doing with two homes, when middle America can barely afford their own homes? The very idea that government officials are in a higher economic strata than the people they serve is an abomination.

Article is behind the news. The version of events by alito and his wife have been challenged by neighbors other than the principals and the police. There is more to the scandal whirling alito than the flag business.
