SCOTUS has agreed to hear these 2 cases January 2026:

United States v. Daniels / Hemani v. United States (Oral argument expected in January 2026): The Court will consider the constitutionality of a federal law that makes it illegal for an “unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance” to possess a firearm. This case will clarify the scope of the Bruen historical test.

Wolford v. Lopez (Oral argument scheduled for January 20, 2026): The case, which challenges a Hawaii law, will determine if states can prohibit people from carrying firearms on private property open to the public (like malls or restaurants that serve alcohol) without the owner’s explicit permission.

What optic setup is that tom running on his carbine?
It looks like maybe a LPVO mounted backward, in a single ring, cantilevered forward from the front of the receiver,
plus a magnifier or maybe a prismatic scope or maybe just a red dot mounted further back.
