Looks like the same in New Mexico. My wife and I (retired) like to travel from Texas across the west with a travel trailer. I wouldn’t do it unarmed (particularly in NM btw). We’ve already scratched California off the list (sadly) because of fear of running afoul of whatever their latest restrictions are (mag capacity, lead bullets?). It’s a real concern that if a weapon were required for self defense in some campground or rv park (some are high risk areas), even if shots weren’t fired, that a subsequent investigation might find ME guilty of some state specific technicality costing me thousands and forfeiture of guns etc. So much for a free country and 2A.

Gotta say I often agree with the Left’s characterizations because… well, they are often correct re: the complacency and stupidity of the average American (of both parties). I speak with many Repubs, some of whom even call themselves conservative (!), who really don’t understand the issues beyond “headline” level. It’s frustrating and sad, but it’s also human nature and why history always repeats itself. Technology changes, human nature (on the big scale) does not.
