I&#039;m more concerned about a mandate to use only an OEM pin in your gat.  A State passing a law prohibiting replacement, swap-out, upgrade, or any modification of the original factory pin...

Or as is the case here in CA, a State attempting to pass legislation requiring registration of the pin.  Think it can&#039;t happen?...we already have unconstitutional registration of firearms and maintenance of a statewide database, and (at least here in CA) the VIN # of your vehicle is shown on your registration along with the license plate.  For motorcycles (I&#039;ve owned a dozen over my lifetime, both on- and off-road) the motor block&#039;s serial # is also added, meaning three numbers are on your slip of paper.  The concept of registering multiple components is already embedded here.]]></description>
