The answer doesn’t matter in Californicatia. Their SC ruled a few years ago that a law that cannot be physically complied with remains a valid law. As Californicatia goes, so goes the nation.

Or as is the case here in CA, a State attempting to pass legislation requiring registration of the pin. Think it can’t happen?…we already have unconstitutional registration of firearms and maintenance of a statewide database, and (at least here in CA) the VIN # of your vehicle is shown on your registration along with the license plate. For motorcycles (I’ve owned a dozen over my lifetime, both on- and off-road) the motor block’s serial # is also added, meaning three numbers are on your slip of paper. The concept of registering multiple components is already embedded here.

It’s a .gov running on tax dollars. It’ll find micro stamping works great and recommend it be mandatory.

“Science” is just another virtue signal at this point.
