“The pols need violent crime so they can keep asking for more money and bigger government“

Yes, we see that even in today’s headlines:

“Trump, apparently misled by video of 2020 protests, threatens to send troops to Portland
US president mistakes scale of anti-Ice rallies after TV report uses old footage from George Floyd demonstrations

Donald Trump told reporters that he might send national guard troops into Portland, Oregon, apparently because he was misled about the scale of small protests there by a TV report that featured video of a 2020 protest wrongly described as having taken place this summer.“

More winning for rural folks, this is exactly what they voted for:

“The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (H.R. 1) would result in 1.8 million individuals in rural communities losing their Medicaid coverage by 2034. In addition, select Medicaid provisions in H.R. 1 would result in a $50.4 billion reduction in federal Medicaid spending on rural hospitals over 10 years.1 See the chart on the next page for a state-by-state breakdown of rural spending and coverage losses.“

https://www.aha.org/fact-sheets/2025-06-13-rural-hospitals-risk-cuts-medicaid-would-further-threaten-access

Even more winning for rural folks gold

“LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska farmers are facing a tough crop market, and it’s hurting the rest of the state’s economy.

According to a report from the U.S. Bureau of Economic analysis, Nebraska’s gross domestic product fell more than 6% in the first quarter, tied with Iowa for the largest decrease in the nation.
It’s because of losses in agriculture.”

"What translation was the cardinal reading from?"

the anti-gun translation.

This wasn't a message of acknowledgement and sympathy and compassion the Cardinal put out - its was an anti-gun message from the anti-gun orgs, and anti-gun people and the dem politicians, in Chicago figuratively 'dancing in the blood of the innocent' to exploit this for the emotional appeal. Notice how its following the same 'infomercial formula' that appears in every anti-gun org statement on such things, its not 'organic', it was written for him.

The infomercial formula is designed to appeal to the 'emotional' side of a persons reasoning to overcome logic and facts and reasoning that may be contrary. This is the infomercial formula: An easy-to-follow story creates and drives attention, leading the viewer through a series of simple, easily agreeable arguments that culminate in a product-centric call to action (the emotional based person would probably or possibly buy what ever is being pushed).

Now look at the Cardinal statement and anti-gun org statements on such things. You find (their narrative of) an easy-to-follow story that creates and drives attention, leading the viewer (i.e reader in this case) through a series of simple, easily agreeable arguments (i.e. we can all agree that this was a heinous act and that children were killed or wounded) that culminate in a product-centric (i.e. ban guns) call to action.

This is not a normal Catholic church leader statement, especially from a Cardinal of the Catholic church. Its too 'formulmatic' and 'cold' (i.e. its nature is clearly not focused on the victims, but rather the anti-gun message), doesn't mention the true true root cause (i.e. mental illness driven evil - it is a Catholic church doctrine that evil acts and those who do them are to be called out publicly by name). Its an anti-gun statement.

So here are the facts:

1. The gun did not do this. This mentally ill trans killer did this. (the anti-gun infomercial formula in the Cardinals statement deflects from this and doesn't mention it to focus on gun. The whole narrative leads one along the path, the "easy-to-follow story", of 'gun did this' which is not true).

2. This mentally ill killer was documented as being mentally ill. Yet, because of the trans protective laws in Minnesota enacted by Walz and his merry band of democrat law makers this trans killers mental health issues were not permitted to be disclosed and had they been, under law, in Minnesota he would not have been able to legally purchase/possess firearms. (not that this would have stopped him from procuring firearms illegally, but he was known to be in possession of firearm by police, they had encounters with him, but because his mental health issues were protected by trans-serving-centric-law in Minnesota from being disclosed and used to either red-flag him or prevent him from legally purchasing.)

[note: In Minnesota, for some of the firearms this trans person was legally able to buy in Minnesota a permit to purchase is required. In Minnesota, purchasing an AR-15 requires a permit to purchase, along with other guns the trans killer used in his attack was an AR-15 he had legally purchased at a firearms dealer store - had he not had a permit to purchase he would not have been able to buy the AR-15 as the firearms dealer would have refused to sell to him. So he was able to get a permit to purchase but because of the the protective trans-serving-centric-law in Minnesota his mental health illness history could not be used to deny him permit to purchase thus he was legally able to buy the guns.]

3. Despite having billions of $$$ in surplus tax payer money, Walz specifically refused to give money to Catholic schools (~$43.00 per student, overall less than $4 million dollars), the ones in Minneapolis especially which included this one, to hire armed security and beef up physical security - while Walz at the same time was crowing about how he was making ALL schools safer. Instead, Walz spent the tax payer money surplus (most of it) on making the state more 'trans friendly'. Armed security here would have probably made a big difference as the trans school shooter, like all the school shooters have, specifically selected this school because it was not likely there would be armed people.

4. Over 150 million law abiding gun owning Americans did not do this heinous act. But for some reason in their deep dark 'emotion and logic and reason' confused and warped hearts and minds anti-gun and democrats and Walz ignores that Walz and his merry band of democrat law makers created this monster (by creating the 'environment', protected by law, under which he could thrive) and turned him loose in society and its this mentally trans killer that did this - but according to anti-gun the rest of us innocent law abiding people now must pay for it with our rights being taken.

The pols need violent crime so they can keep asking for more money and bigger government to fix the problems. They also need to keep certain people down so they'll keep voting Democrat. Locking up criminals is somehow racist, and only Republicans are capable of being racist. Law and order is just code for white supremacy. The racism angle helps with a big chunk of the constituency.

The champagne liberals vote to keep criminals out of jail so they can finally feel virtuous about something. Locking them up would be mean, and they aren't mean. They're nice, accepting people striving to be anti-racist.
