There was a time when well over 90% of the people is this country thought the size of your skull determined your intelligence level. There was time in the country when over 90% of the people in this country thought bloodletting was a legitimate medical treatment. There was a time in this country when well over 90% of the people in this country thought bad air caused malaria. And none of those thoughts and feelings had any more impact on the actual world than those polls have on our natural, Constitutionally guaranteed rights – until the American people express their desires through our political process those polls carry as much weight as all those outdated false beliefs.

Good to see that the results of the election has at least had somewhat of an impact on Congress – could the reality of the election finally be soaking. in?
