Conservative voting turnout for my county was very high and I thought Sears would have a chance. I was extremely shocked to look at the county turnout stats for the state. Anyway, looks like we might have an “interesting” summer…

Kamala won VA handily, even with that additional 30% of Republican voters voting.

Northern Virginia voters are heavily dem gov workers and were impacted by the shutdown.

Winsome Sears wasn’t going to win. Heck the NAACP endorsed her opponent.

A full 30% of Republicans who voted in the national election of 2024 didn’t bother to vote in the state election of 2025. The blame is obvious.

I was stationed at Ft Eustis in Newport News VA. Twice. I was there when the black governor got elected.

I was there when a pro gun homeschool christian lost the election for governor. If you read Virginia history you will learn how the founders said the citizens must participate.

The lazy or the foolish don’t vote. I was a regular listener of libertarian talk radio. WNIS/WTKR.

The local radio hosts were libertarians. The had Neal Bortz, a libertarian. They were proud of not voting.

And they had Rush Limbaugh a conservative.

Civil rights are going away, because the folks really never believed. That the state government would come for their guns.

If you’re not motivated enough to go vote when the attorney general candidate, supports murdering children. Or having them murdered.

And that doesn’t get you to the polls!!!

If violent criminals used feminine hygiene products to start 100,000 fires (e.g. arson) every year and kill 300,000 people every year, would that be righteous justification for government to ban feminine hygiene products? The obvious answer is NO. It is no different with firearms and firearm components. No matter how many people violent criminals attack every year, those attacks are NOT righteous justification to ban firearms and firearm componenets.

Virginia is Deep Blue. It has been for a while. And I voted. It didn’t matter. It wasn’t going to matter.
