create a registry so we know where the guns are. We know when they go into the wrong hands when they’re stolen. And we can actually start a buyback program.

Yeah, so, like, a registry accomplishes none of that but, uh, okay.

If they want us to believe their stated intent of implementing a thing then that thing should at least appear to implement the intent.

The only things registries accomplish are a mechanism for taxing and licensing and a starting point for confiscation. It wouldn’t even accomplish those goals fully but that’s really all they’re good for.

Oh, and placing blame on victims of theft of course. Today’s Democrats are all about blaming the victim.
