I’ll add that the USA’s crazy days of Prohibition were due to a movement whose “biggest supporters were… middle age White women”. MADD, which grew in the 1980s and peaked in the 1990s, once again “middle age White women”. When the inevitable pull back from wild-eyed marijuana permissiveness occurs who’ll be the public vanguard of that? Uh huh, “middle age White women”.

They “need” a splashy event every six months or so to maintain credibility.

Hence my oft-repeated meme that our species is rapidly devolving from homo sapiens into homo motus. Yes, it is near-universal on the Left/fascist side of the spectrum, but it is unfortunately common on the libertarian/conservative side, too. And it’s cute to say “Facts don’t care about your feelings”, but the reality is that an unfortunate percentage of our population acts as if they believe that, if they just emote hard enough, their emotions will alter reality.

Since most Leftist/fascists I know are fairly puny (c.f., Zohran Mamdahni ‘lifting weights’ (a 135# bench press?!?!?! (that he couldn’t even complete, unaided)?? AYFKMRN??? You would think that a rational Leftist/fascist would realize that they are nothing but walking targets for the predators out there, and gun up (they’ll sure never protect themselves going ‘hand to hand’!), but their visceral hoplophobia overrides common sense.

Lets phrase that more correctly… There is a whole generation that does not feel connected to your flavor of mental illness. But to refine it a little more to the reality – There is a whole generation that rejects your flavor of mental illness

There are many ‘unpardonable sins’ in trying to attract people to your movement. But some of them are:

* Assuming people must be connected to what ever you are trying to sell, and then alienating and attacking them when they don’t buy in.
* Not having something people want.
* Making emotion the foundation of your movement when facts say other wise.

MOFL committed these ‘unpardonable sins’ , and many more, then this idiot thinks its because “There is a whole generation that does not feel connected to this movement.”

That, right there, ‘feel’. You are a bunch of ’emotional’ infants that denies the facts, trying to take away a constitutional right, with a grifter for a front man, pushing a message that mentally ill people do heinous murder and then trying to blame law abiding people who own guns and penalize them – and all you have is ‘I feelz’. I got news for you, people see what you are and know its simply not right or sane to blame innocent people for the crimes of the mentally ill. Yeah, no wonder there is a whole generation that does not buy into your flavor of mental illness.
