Anti-gun crusaders—probably pearl-clutching harpies from Moms Demand Action—have officially lost the plot. They’re gearing up to protest a high school trap team’s fundraiser in Savage, Minnesota this Sunday. Bless their mean-spirited little black hearts.
You read that right. A bunch of teenagers who like to shoot clays for sport and are conducting a fundraiser for their club will likely face a passel of hoplophobic harridans and a sprinkling of hen-pecked beta males this weekend. These scolds think that’s the perfect venue to scream about “gun violence,” as if these kids are somehow the equivalent gang-bangers that turn cities like Minneapolis into war zones.
It’s odd that these gun-haters never pull these stunts in crime-ridden urban neighborhoods, isn’t it?
Nothing says “imminent threat to society” quite like a 16-year-old in safety glasses yelling “Pull!” before busting a clay bird. We’ve all seen the shocking videos of these clean-cut trap and skeet shooters looting convenience stores, robbing pedestrians or carjacking big city residents with their 12-gauge pump shotguns, right?
Let’s get real for a second. High school trap shooting is statistically one of the safest sports out there. Safer than football, wrestling, cheerleading and pretty much everything else including P.E. class. Zero school killing sprees have been carried out by a school trap team member. These kids are drilling discipline, focus, responsibility, and—gasp!—proper firearm safety under strict adult supervision. The very definition of responsible gun ownership.
Scholastic clays is a lifeline for some bookish types who’d otherwise warm the bench in other sports, giving nerds, quieter kids, and future engineers a place to shine, build confidence, and learn that tools aren’t toys. To say nothing for young people with disabilities.
But we can’t have that, can we? Because guns are icky. And scary. So instead of cheering on kids who are literally doing everything right, these lame lefties choose to harass teens and their families at a fundraiser to support their sport. Because nothing screams “protect the children” like intimidating actual children who are just trying to pay for ammo and targets.
So here’s the play for Minnesota gun owners and normal humans within driving distance: show up this Sunday. Be polite. Be firm. Be loud in your support. Stuff that donation bucket so full it overflows. Let these kids see a wall of community members backing them up while the fragile harpies and hen-pecked, pencil-necked males shame themselves.

Ya know what would make great video for the news? A bunch of Moms Demand Action protestors getting their figurative ‘butts pounded into the ground’ ‘verbally’ by supporters of the team and harassed and intimidated off the property because they targeted kids doing the right thing the right way to raise money for a sport that gives them a place to belong, comradery, and teaches a valuable life skill of self-reliance to develop skills and hone them for accomplishments of goals. This is exactly one of the things what we are suppose to be teaching our kids – self-reliance, develop skills, hone your skills, the use your skills to accomplish goals. I suppose the barely functional alcoholic and Prozac Moms Demand Action pervert group would rather kids just give into to their insane shrieking, slack off, and drift aimlessly like a lot of kids do today. But you know what MDA is really protesting, its not just guns – they are protesting that they have not captured the upcoming generation to be slaves to the left wing dogma they want them to be subjected to and let them be in charge of who can do what – cult fanatics are that way, its not the ‘thing’ really for them, its that the people are not doing what they want them to do and be like they want them to be.
Kinda seems like all the lefts talk about “responsible” ownership and the idea that “sporting” guns would be left alone is just a bunch of BS.
If we are to believe the left to be sincere this clay shooting team should be exactly what they’d want to support.

Skeet, trap, sporting clays, all good shooting sports. As a long time skeet shooter, I can say that the sport does very well at self policing. If somebody does not practice gun safety all the time, they typically will not last long in a club. Good for these kids.
That’s it Moms Demand Action, prey on kids just like the typical mentally ill left winger.
