The old Soviet Union had a way to ‘deal’ with those who refused to recognize how wonderful communism was, special ‘hospitals’ where the afflicted could be ‘de-programmed’ and then re-programmed with ‘proper thought’.

They seriously want something like that, and an Obama administration official was caught on camera talking about how Trump supporter children should be sent to places like that.

And of course, if they refuse to think proper thoughts, they are useless to society and could be humanely euthanized, I’ll bet… 🙁

BTW, in this document, they bragged about securing billions for the Dept of Education via the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

They needs billions for researchers to study the problem which will lead to the conclusion that the government needs billions to staff mental health professionals to help those at risk because the reason some demographics aren’t affected as much by gun violence is because they have better access to mental health professionals, right?

To decrease risk of firearm violence exposure, injury, and/or death, communities can, for example, promote and invest in safe and supportive physical environments and housing, equitable access to high‑quality education and health care, and opportunities for employment and economic growth.

Big government needs billions for bigger government to give “at-risk communities” stuff because that’s how communities that aren’t “at-risk” became that way? No, that’s not how it works. This is the same old throw money at the problem non-solution while ignoring the real problems. Same stuff, different day. Real solutions are antithetical to big government ambitions.
