Just typical of how government works. If you want something screwed up just let the government do it. I spent 20+ years working in government and the only successful thing I got from it was a descent pension. The federal bureaucratic complex is the most dangerous in regards to destroying our freedoms and liberties, because it works without recourse from the voters. When they enact their arbitrary regulations. Which is as much the fault of the voters as it is the politicians that built it. Which they did so as to get regulations enacted without having to vote on them and face the ire of their constituents for their vote.
