In answer to the question of , “Why did the hero who temporarily disarmed the jhadi not shoot him?” The answer is, the hero recognized that the shooter was in-group, that is, in the same group as he. And that was a stronger motivation than to permanently stop his ability to attack.

Attention Debbie Dimwit: the underlying purpose of almost ALL ‘modern’ gun control is disarming the law-abiding, tax-paying, responsible citizens of the US (bonus points for disarming white, Christian conservatives), and this is an excellent example. If I am reading his recent posts correctly, our friend Southern Cross may be legally compelled to surrender some of his guns, as he is over their “limit” . . . and, yet, Jihad Jack apparently had no problems. Y’all got your racism backwards, you busy ditch.

This happens far too often to be a simple mistake or bureaucratic failure.

The state benefits from terrorism more than the terrorists themselves through more power, expanding bureaucracy, endless slush funds, an ever afraid population willing to put up with anything for the illusion of security, a scapegoat for their failures and perhaps most useful of all a phantom boogeyman to call upon whenever the people start to notice their eroding liberties and dwindling purchasing power.

I’m sure the first answer when anyone is asked why this happened will be to create another office to oversee the process and to further restrict who can have access to what while continuing to ignore all the other Jihad Jacks already ashore and import even more.
