Too bad its not clear what the bag at the top of the article is. It's great at just looking like a back pack without the tac-bro vibe. If it came in grey or turd brown it would be perfect. Also, when everyone is tacticool, no one is... Flood the zone with tac too.

(facepalm)

All of the selections shown in the pics scream the usual "I have tactical stuff in here...follow me to my home or car and break in for the goodies!" No way.

I have another brand for about the same $$$ that is purpose-built for high quality gear and CCW, but I chose a color scheme that makes it look like a run-of-the-mill college student's. The idea of Gray Man is to blend in. If someone wants to play Mr. TactiBro and deck himself out with Multicam MOLLE, then it's a free country. I'll be letting the nefarious characters (or glowies) follow him while I go the opposite direction with my average looking backpack.

to add:

ALPS Outdoorz - the items in this article - Not sure yet for the particular item in the article but usually smaller Alps 'soft goods' like this with their brands are made in Bangledesh and I suspect the same for the 'ALPS Outdoorz' brand name. Sometimes its hard to tell with companies with multiple brands because it could actually be done under one of their other brands and just launched as a new/different-line brand.

For either the product materials or complete products:

Mission First Tactical - ACHRO Storage Case - actually made in Vietnam by JION VINA CO., LTD

5.11- Range Ready Trainer Bag and the Range Ready Pro - Its a mixture for 5.11 Tactical, their clothing and foot wear are mostly Vietnam now, but their other 'soft goods' products such as the Range Ready Trainer Bag and the Range Ready Pro can be either Vietnam or the Philippines. Nothing 5.11 for clothing or foot wear or things like these bags are actually made in the U.S.A.

Mountainsmith - the items in this article - actually made in China by 'New Prokin International'

Nite Ize - the items in this article - actually made in China by Binovo Manufacturing

Eberlestock - the Recce Ruck in the article - actually made by Bethel Vina and rebranded for Eberlestock which is a Bethel Vina brand name. The materials they use are imported from either Europe or Pakistan depending on date of manufacturer.
