If the homeowner did not possess a firearm, it is highly unlikely he could let his gun kill a person. Guns are the root cause of violence in response to violence. Just stand aside, and be a good witness to crime. When it is safe, call 911. If you don’t interfere with crime in progress, it won’t interfere with you. The dead young man was unlawfully denied due process of the justice system; denied the right of life that would offer opportunities to learn behaviors that would free him of a life of crime.

People who subscribe to random processes creating everything (and thus embracing survival of the fittest and also rejecting our almighty Creator) should be cheering this event. In one regard of the “survival of the fittest” philosophy, the deceased was attempting to exert his superior strength, dominance, and aggression to secure resources for himself. Yippee! Go strong man! In another regard of the “survival of the fittest” philosophy, the home occupant was attempting to exert his superior intelligence and ability to rapidly adapt to dangerous situations. Yippee! Go smart man!

Thus, if you subscribe to the “survival of the fittest” philosophy, you should be cheering this event: the fittest survived and is able to propagate his genes. Am I right?!?!?
