They’ve always overlooked those things. Out of sight, out of mind. All that has mattered is worshiping at the alter of EV, solar, and wind turbines. It’s similar to how they love driving the corporations into other countries with little to no environmental regulations, along with slave wages/labor.

Initially I had typed out a bunch of why this doesn’t help the way you would think but realized I don’t want the dumb ones getting even harder to find. Suffice it to say building skepticism at the local law enforcement level is currently the best strategy.

Given the power requirements and environmental impact fr mining the materials involved let alone production the eco protest of anything green energy actually does make sense……. which is exactly why you will only see it when the company involved isn’t in the groupthink (tribalism by another nuance).
