Adamiak did request a presidential pardon. But then appealed the conviction, a pardon can’t be granted during an appeal and appeal decision was pending. A pardon can be granted after final sentence, if an appeal is going on there isn’t a final sentence because the sentence could be overturned on appeal. Now hes asking that the entire 4th circuit panel hear the case, so basically another appeal so no pardon yet as no final sentence because a full hearing could overturn the conviction.

Or, as a last resort, take it to the Supreme Court, and hope we know some folks that can explain the injustice to Kavanaugh, Cony-Barret, and Thomas, for starters…
