We actually invited a PETA member to a company BBQ cookout once, not knowing they were a PETA member and asked them to RSVP. They sent a ‘…how dare you comitt this atrocity…’ and all sorts of insane claims and accusations letter by FedEx 2nd day for their RSVP and promised the company they worked for would terminate their contract with us. The next morning after reading that I called the company CEO and told him about it. He said he’d get back to me in about an hour. So about an hour later he calls back, puts the phone on speaker and tells his assistant to have the PETA guy come in … and tells the guy “You’re fired. Get your stuff and leave now. Security will escort you out.”

Yeah, I am panting for the opportunity to get “expert” advice on gun ownership and safety from a bunch of idiots who know f***-all about firearms. I plan to contact PETA and my local vegan organization for advice about my next BBQ, too.

The good news is that only those already committed to the Leftist/fascist “gun control” narrative are likely to take these classes – and they will be no loss to our community. No, POTUS has no authority to ‘take over’ local law enforcement (outside of the FEDERAL DISTRICT of DC), and I don’t think he should. Local government means local. OTOH, there are a number of high-crime cities in “red” states, that seriously need some cleaning up. While POTUS can’t legally do it (short of a national emergency or war, and then only to a limited degree), the constitutions of many “red” states would allow the governor or state legislature to take action.

Here’s hoping some red state governors learn from DJT’s example. Louisville, St. Louis, Little Rock, and a number of other cities, who have long been under monolithic Dimocrat control, could (in the immortal words of Jack Nicholson as The Joker) use an enema.
