In what world?   I argued a case to the Fifth Circuit fifteen MONTHS ago; still no decision.   Colleagues of mine report similar delays.   And look at how long the Ninth Circuit routinely sits on 2A cases!

On the positive side, it looks like the appellant drew a decent panel for the Fourth Circuit (which is packed with Obama / Biden appointees due to Bush II leaving a lot of seats unfilled).]]></description>
