I feel her pain with the RI permitting process. As a non-resident applicant it took 15 months for a permit to be issued. The cost of said permit in RI was way out of line with CT and MA where I am also permitted.

The cost for Texas Democrats abandoning their seats just went up exponentially. State House Speaker Dustin Burrows has ordered that all direct deposits be stopped for any member absent for the express purpose of denying a quorum. That stops the money flow to those who fled to Illinois and other blue states to prevent the Republican super majority from redistricting the state.

“Out of an abundance of caution and based on initial reporting, Air Force authorities ordered various safety precautions involving the M18 after this tragic event,” an Air Force spokesperson said in a statement. “Since then, the investigation has progressed and an individual has now been arrested on suspicion of making a false official statement, obstruction of justice, and involuntary manslaughter.”
