In the mid 90s my wife worked a split shift that took her through some truly dangerous neighborhoods in KC. She was already familiar with her .38 and we bought a 12 gauge for when she was home. Hard to believe, but she wasn't legal with that .38 on the seat beside her. Nevertheless, I told her to empty her revolver into the face of anyone who tried to get into her vehicle then speed home or toward police as fast as possible. BTW at work she was escorted to her car by an armed co-worker while another stood in the doorway with a shotgun. KC mind you, not Fallujah or Gaza. It's really hard to believe that this was our reality back then.

Yes carry ever day.

But if you're not training for a 25 yard shot or not training for a 43 yard shoot. Then you are not ready for prime time.

You should be able to reliably hit a target, that is twice the length of the longest vehicle that you own.

That is the advice from the founder of the Thunder Ranch training facility.
Clint Smith.

And you need to decide if you're going to violate that sign that says "no firearms allowed."

I've personally decided that I will violate that sign. And I accept the consequences for the decisions that I have made.

That is called messy freedom.

And we are told that we should be law-abiding people. And I Agree to a point.

I remember a time in this countrywhen many people, were willing to violate the law. And go to jail for it.

The pr0gr;es:sive,s are depending on you to be a good law, abiding citizen.
