In reply to Geoff "I'm getting too old for this shit" PR. It can help. I still have a black plastic disc that I clamp onto my glasses lens, that has a pinhole in it. Line up the pinhole with your line of sight, and the iron sights are clearer. It was pretty common when handgun silhouette shooting took off.

By ‘stopping down’ the opening, less light passes through, but what does has an enhanced depth-of-field, bringing the front sight and target both into sharper focus…
