It’s tied to how people perceive morality. Commies have done a great job of slowly redefining morality over the past six decades. People used to understand that murder is wrong. Now murder is okay, and even celebrated, if certain leftist religious criteria is met. But guns are always bad UNLESS they’re being used to advance the left’s agenda. Sport shooting and hunting might be gateway d-r-u-g-s to conservative politics, therefore those activities are immoral.

Climate alarmism has nothing to do with science. It’s another belief system. It is immoral to support any person or entity that doesn’t advocate for endless government spending for a vague promise to limit warming at some point in the future, WITH ZERO DATA given on how much this spending will actually limit warming. Why don’t the followers ask for this data? They don’t ask because they are loyal adherents to Leftist religion.

What Outdoor Stewards are going to have to do is convert victims of left wing indoctrination. Good luck with that. What they should be doing is focusing on youth. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. If you don’t teach the next generation what morality means, then someone will do that job for you. See: US education system. I hate to have to point out, no I don’t, but they also included a category for affordable housing, and although most 3 gun competitions are held in low rent duplex housing units, wait that’s not true, well there are all those pictures of a big buck in the middle of downtown, nope. Ok there is absolutely no association between hunting or sport shooting and affordable housing unless you are a libtard who hates every liberty except killing unborn babies, which is the only activity they would allow you to do with an AR-15 if they had their way. The same goes for global warming. This is at best a bad survey that oversampled DC and Hawaii, and you will never convince the people who say skeet is bad cause the earth has a fever otherwise.

This is not abnormal actually, so its hard to say from a single survey if this is a trend as these types of subjects have a sort of ‘like-again-don’t-like-again’ variable thing in opinion over time normally
