After all, It is a known scientifically and demographically and historically proven fact that the more people who gather in a crowd the more chances of ‘injury’ increases. The risks associated with large crowds of people include the spread of infectious diseases, increased risk of violence, increased risk of criminal acts and crime, and the potential for stampedes. The mentally ill killer was attracted to the parade because of the advertisement and promotion of the parade. So using the plaintiff logic here the ones who organized-planned-advertised-and promoted the Highland Park parade are the ‘Proximate Cause’ of the tragic and horrible mentally ill killers actions and should be sued.
