However, after 52 years in Law Enforcement in Southern California, nothing surprises me when it comes to the alphabet groups…. FBI, DEA, SS, ICE, CIA, etc. I’ve personally witness screw ups with these groups… well, not the CIA because I never dealt with them. What I read makes me want to know the other side’s version? There are numerous serious allegations in this article. Perjury for one by all the agents involved that lied. An unfair trial if Adamiak’s lawyer was not able to present their expert witness Dan O’Kelly. This part is a bit puzzling…. not sure if Adamiak’s lawyer simply did not bring in O’Kelly as an expert or he wasn’t allowed? I almost thought that perhaps Adamiak’s lawyer was in on some brokered deal just like all the agents.
As former military, and a life member of several organizations in support of the 2nd Amendment, and 52 years in LE, I do my best to stay on top of this kind of nonsense crap. If any of this is remotely true, then all of those agents and personnel involved that perjured themselves need to go on trial. Their careers are over since they could never testify again if found guilty. Perhaps this explains why the former ATF Director, Steven Dettelbach stepped down just before Trump took over. Take your retirement before you’re fired! A case of this magnitude, and one that caused the agency to boast about it in their press release certainly would have risen to the level of Dettelbach knowing about it.
All I can say is this is very sad, if it actually went down as indicated. I’d like to know their side of the story, with facts, not bullshit. I want to belive it is somewhat true and I donated to the cause. But I do have some reservations on getting my hands around this in its entirety. Best of luck to Patrick and I hope we hear of an exoneration someday soon.
